iphoneTwo months, 1 programmer friend and $50.

That’s what it took to get my iPhone, bought on the first weekend it was made available in the U.S., unlocked so that I can use it on the Rogers/Fido networks.

Oh I almost forgot – it took about 3 hours last night for George, a software whiz to unlock my iPhone after developer friends of his released a much anticipated software unlock.

It was worth the wait. The iPhone is every bit what Steve Jobs promised it would be. Full review to come.

So Kevin, now that you’ve had you iPhone for a few months are you still enamored with it?

I’m using a Blackberry Curve which I really like….should I wait for the iPhone to arrive in Canada or simply pick-up the iTouch and stick with my tried and true Blackberry.
